Installation

Five steps to go live

From DMG to first sale — the classic Mac install flow, step by step.

    Download the installer

    Get the unified SubaPOS `.dmg` for macOS (Apple Silicon). The same app works for standalone and cloud — your license controls which features unlock.

  2. 2

    Open the disk image

    Double-click the downloaded `.dmg` file in your Downloads folder.

  3. 3

    Drag to Applications

    Move SubaPOS into your Applications folder when the installer window opens.

  4. 4

    Launch SubaPOS

    Open SubaPOS from Applications. On first launch, macOS may ask you to confirm — choose Open.

  5. 5

    Activate your license

    Sign in with the SubaPOS Cloud account where you purchased your plan, or enter your standalone license key. Checkout stays locked until activation succeeds.

System requirements

  • macOS 12 Monterey or later
  • Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) or Intel Mac
  • 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended)
  • 500 MB free disk space

Gatekeeper notice

If macOS blocks the app, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway, or right-click the app and select Open.
